Abstract Submission

Abstract Submission Requirements

  • Abstracts (in English) should describe original and significant new material and work.
  • Abstracts should contain enough details, in order to allow the referees a sound assessment of the scientific merit.
  • Abstracts are confined to one page and should be prepared using the rtf template or the Latex template.
  • Figures can be embedded as long as the one page limit is not exceeded.
  • Finally, the abstract should be converted to the pdf format (looking like this) and only the pdf file should be submitted.
  • Multiple submissions of the same person are strongly discouraged and should be combined into a single one.

Abstract Submission Procedere

  •  Submission is only possible electronically.
  • All fields with a red asterisk have to be filled.
  • You need to assign the abstract to one of the conference topics.
  • You will receive a reference code for a successfully submitted abstract and a few days later a confirmation of receipt via email.
  • All abstracts must be submitted not later than March 9, 2012, extended until March 16, 2012.
  • Only abstracts for post-deadline posters (of exceptional urgency and importance) are now accepted and should be sent to the organizers (tgonline@gdch.de) in the proper format together with a statement why the poster deserves to be considered as post-daedline contribution.
  • Authors will be informed of the final status of their contribution (rejected, poster, oral, upgraded invited) via email by April 16, 2012.
